Position Title: Instructional Designer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Interview Process: Either Web Cam or In Person
We are seeking an experienced and creative Instructional Designer to develop engaging, accessible, and effective learning solutions that support organizational goals and employee performance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in eLearning development, instructional design methodologies, LMS platforms, and multimedia training creation.
This role will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), leadership teams, and stakeholders to design and deliver impactful training programs in virtual, in-person, and self-paced formats.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct training needs assessments and audience analyses to identify learning objectives and performance gaps.
Design and develop instructional materials including storyboards, course outlines, job aids, learning guides, and video scripts.
Create SCORM-compliant eLearning courses, webinars, microlearning modules, and instructor-led training materials.
Develop interactive learning experiences using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
Ensure all training materials meet Section 508 accessibility compliance standards.
Develop assessments, quizzes, and evaluations to measure learner comprehension and training effectiveness.
Analyze learner feedback and assessment data to improve instructional programs.
Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables while providing regular status updates.
Maintain and update existing training content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Stay informed on instructional design trends, adult learning principles, and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in Instructional Design, Training & Development, or related field.
Proficiency with:
Articulate Storyline
Adobe Captivate
Camtasia
Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with SCORM-compliant course development and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Strong understanding of ADDIE, SAM, and adult learning principles.
Experience creating virtual, instructor-led, and self-paced learning solutions.
Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
Experience with Workday LMS and enterprise training environments.
Experience supporting Workday ERP implementations or large-scale system transitions.
Knowledge of gamification and learner engagement strategies.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects).
